your criteria, then search for members meeting your criteria. After you
get results send Private Message(s) (PM's) or IM's ( instant messages) if they are online to the people you think you
might get along with.
You can also participate here in the forums, just add your opinions into the threads you want. Or, start new topics that interest you just like you did here to introduce yourself. There are groups to join, polls to answer ( or create if you wish). You can post and vote on videos, pictures, and likely more than that, too.

Hey there and welcome, Randall. Read up a bit to see how to get the site to work for you. The initial post saying hi is good, but you really will do a lot better searching for people and sending PM's / IM's to the ones that interest you.
If you care to join us here on the forum just to add in your opinions here and there, you are welcomed to do that as well. Experience shows us those that participate on the forums tend to find people faster than those that don't...... but then again, since they are posting in the forums, the ones that don't post we don't know about
