the easiest way to find people of interest is to push the button near the top marked search. Enter in your criteria, then search for members meeting your criteria. After you get results send Private Message(s) (PM's) or IM's ( instant messages) if they are online to the people you think you might get along with.
You can also participate here in the forums, just add your 2 cents into the threads you want. Or, start new topics that interest you just like you did here to introduce yourself. There are groups to join, polls to answer ( or create if you wish). You can post videos, and probably more that I just can't think of at this minute.
