Just home from seeing 50 Shades and before anyone says 'eww', yes I did enjoy it although not as much as the books.  Ok, there were lots of tittie shots which I could have done without but I'm sure were enjoyed by the males in the audience.  I was disappointed when the movie finished too soon as there's so much more to the story.  Guess I'll have to wait for the sequel.

The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.

Just as good as the first movie, just as funny, just as chaotic.  Typical India, colourful, busy, crazy.  Great scenery and acting, thoroughly enjoyable.

Paddington.

I thought he was very cute. Other people thought he looked strange.

San Andreas

Phew!!  Talk about action, I don't think they could have got more in if they tried.  Movie goes for 2 hours and I think every few minutes were spent holding breath for the next near miss or escape.

I enjoyed it much more than I expected to and would recommend it although I wont be visiting California any time soon.

Aloha

Enjoyable movie, some drama, some romance, some humour.

Bill Murray portrays a billionaire but looks more like a derelict.

Brad Cooper... **sigh**  Oh, to be at least 30 years younger.

Would recommend

The Intern

Brilliant!  A fabulously enjoyable movie with a couple of morals thrown in.  Great acting and good storyline with a few very amusing scenes.  Highly recommended.

Heya Abby,

Was it as good as you'd hoped?

The last Movie I saw 'at the Movies' I think was a cartoon fish/animal one... took my lad, but the last 'film I saw was the unbeatable 'Galaxy Quest' I have seen that so many times... but I still curl up laughing

He's already grown up...wards, he's 6" taller than me, and he agrees with me about galaxy Quest if nothing else,

Tell you what though Abby, my Nephew is a Star Wars Fanatic, all the films, books, Cards and everything else, I did see a couple of the later ones with my lad when they came out though... at the cinema no less!

Lady In A Van ...

Fantastic acting by all and it has it's funny moments, those typical 'old lady' comments.

But the storyline is BORING!  Weird presentation of an odd and unlikely friendship.

Very disappointed, would not recommend.

Just got back from The Magnificent Seven with Denzil Washington. Good movie. I am a fan of westerns tho.

Dr Strange was pretty good. I like the Marvel movies in general. Guardians of the Galaxy was my favorite and the sequel is coming soon. Awesome!

Battle Of The Sexes.

Chauvinist pig vr modern woman; or equality in the sporting arena.
I can vaguely remember this story when it happened back in 1972, that made it even more interesting.
Good acting, well played.  Moral, don't bite off more than you can chew.  Or, don't assume you are better than anyone else for any reason.

Theatre was filled with women, don't think there was a man present.  lol

The Other Side of the Mountain

Excitement, danger and a little romance.  Great scenery and acting.  A little drawn out at times, but enjoyable.
