As no English lsnguage word begins with "ng", here is an alternative word to keep this game alive (robertm4 please read the instructions on the first page):
Tyre (common British spelling)

Instructions from page 1
Take the last two letters from the previous word to make the first two letters of a new word.
For example: koala (use 'la') change to laughter
Rules:
Use English language words
In the case of posting at same time use the first one posted.
In the case of and incorrect entry, work from the last correct entry.
For the sake of playability, please try to use word that ends in a manner in which a new word can be formed.

Thus words ending in "ng" or "nt" plus some others are not allowed.
