Ingredients:

½ can sweetened condensed milk

600ml thickened cream

Method:

Place condensed milk & cream in a bowl and whip until thick and creamy.

Carefully mix in your preferred flavour and pour into a container.

Put in freezer for at least 3 hours.

Eat and enjoy.

Makes about 1 ½ litres.

Flavours:

Coffee: 3tbsp instant coffee dissolved.  Adjust quantity to taste.

Honeycomb:  Crush honeycomb to small pieces and mix in.

Marshmallow: Mini marshmallows.

Cookies & Cream:  Crush Oreo’s or your favourite biscuit.

Mango Swirl: Mango puree mixed with a little sugar.  Swirl, don’t mix.

I only made half the recipe to give it a try and coffee flavouring with marshmallows thrown in for a treat.  I used a hand held stick blender to whip it and it only took a minute or so to become thick like runny ice cream.  It is now in the freezer waiting for dinner.  But I can tell you ...the scraper tasted really good!

Ok, after dinner report.

Ice cream was great, the marshmallow addition was inspired.  The coffee flavouring was too strong, will reduce the quantity next time.  Yes, there will be a next time.

Have tried again and again made half the recipe.  This time stirred in a sachet of raspberry sauce... the kind intended for cupcakes.  As the marshmallows worked so well last time I added them again.  The resulting raspberry marshmallow ice cream is great.

If I ever get enough room in my freezer I shall try this.  Found recipes for sugar-free condensed milk.  Will make some for Joseph.

Made up a new flavour...

Chopped a small Cherry Ripe into tiny pieces and added to mixture along with marshmallows.

Voila...
