Jan and I met each other thanks to this site, one day he send me a shy hello in a message and from the very first moment that we said nice to meet you, the chemistry was instantaneous and strong, we started to talk and after a month talking for many hours everyday, I went to Netherlands to meet him, six months after my visit, he came to Mexico City to visit me and from that moment we never got separated, he gave me an engagement ring and after some days of paperwork, we went to marry in a Civil Register Office.

We had no party, no bride dress, no honeymoon trip, nothing, as he had not a job in Mexico and I had not time because my job.  And we did not want anything of that, the most important thing for us was to be together.

We never regreted to make the things that way and we would make the things exactly the same if needed.  So... the last january 16th, we had our 5th anniversary.

Our live together have not been easy, we are not rich persons and lets say that Mexico was not a good option for us, now we are separated, but I hope to meet him soon in Netherlands to star a new stage of our happy life together.

I attach a pic of us.

Janet, Happy to hear there are no regrets. That is the most important thing to me at all times. Congrats on 5 years and I do hope that even with the world situation of COVID right now that you get to go to the Nordic area to be with Jan soon.

I don't know if you've been there or even close to that latitude before, but it is a different world, especially in the winter months. Most of it is heavy outerwear and then driving/commuting in the snow and ice. If you are like someone else I know (mention no names), it will be a good excuse to shop and get new wardrobe(s).

Thank you Billy!

Yes, I have been there and for sure the climate is not precisely nice on winter, and especially in Netherlands, where they detect the change of season because the temperature of the permanent rain, it will be a challenge, but as you say, having the correct wardrobe...

Janet, you have the arms of the man who loves you to keep you warm, no need of a new wardrobe.

It's alway great to hear from our success stories and hope you have many more happy years ahead.
