Geeze shy, are you that close to Wuhan that you were worried about it? Know people that went there, or went there yourself?
Tales are now coming out here that it may be a Chinese biological weapon that accidentally got out of the lab. Things like that and facts like they (the Chinese Gov't) don't seem to know much about it, or know how to treat it scare me to death.
It brings back memories of the SARS virus a few years ago. I'm sitting at home now coughing my butt off, and I haven't been anywhere to get an infection. Seeing this stuff on the news really makes me wonder, and I think in a few days I'll go see the Doc to get a professional opinion on the matter. If for no other reason hopefully I'll learn what I don't have.
Shy, I can see why if you got sick once after going to a Chinese Temple, you have good reason to fear (or possibly the word is respect) anything to do with those items in the future. Better safe than sorry is a good mantra.
Pete while 6,000 out of 11 Million may not be a big percentage, 6000 is a pretty high #. Considering they don't have safe way to treat this stuff or even diagnose it accurately just yet, I think they are fearing more the possibilities of what might happen rather than what has/is happening. I've also heard media reports that 5 Million out of the Wuhan 11 Million population have "escaped" the lock down on the city. If only 2500 of those 5 Million are infectious, imagine how many others they can infect wherever they have gone.
A few month later....all Europe is closed off and it's getting worse
oh,bye the way...Hi to all
nice to see you, hans. Hope all is at least as good as it can be for now.
I can identify with the at home locked in part of it. Here in CA we were one of the first States to have a virtual lock down on the State due to this virus. Its not as bad as martial law (yet), but I'm sure not happy about the Governor Gruesome here giving us a 4 hour window notice on the lock down prior to its effect.
