Anybody flipping out over the level of play at the World Cup. We already saw one hat trick- From that “unknown” ha Ha from Portugal. Hey any sport that can cause a man made natural disaster because it’s Mexico City fans jumped at the same time...
that’s a fan base. An earthquake because of a great goal!!!

My, why are people so incredibly agitated, when 22 grlan-up men chase after one plastic ball ? They really ought to know better. Soccer seems to be a 'game", whete those, who are most adept at bresbrea the rules unnoticed by the usually quite inept officials will win the match. That fires up the equally unruly visitors to the stadium, who duly start their own fights.
In my younger days I played a security guard in a German Federal League (Bundesliga) stadium on Sundays, which cured me for life of any liking of this non-sport. Needless to say, if no goals are scored, the whole thing also becomrs rather pointless.
I did not watch a single minute if this World Cup circus, and I don't inyint to watch in the future. There are much better sports to watch like cricket or Rugby Football, and in neither game is violence being rewarded. The same is true for baseball.

Just like there is no better color, better food, better music, etc... It's a matter of taste. Somebody equally might think that the sports you mentioned are boring and not worth watching. Therefore, if you don't like something, just don't watch it.

Well World Cup ended with a record number of goals. Yes! I’m talking to you France!! Way to advance Croatia and Belgium.
Baseball too enjoyed a great season of home runs and scoring. Especially from my Astros. So the “boring” sports are picking up the pace. And one can still appreciate a fantastic defensive save or an amazing catch
