Rating of pictures and videos is anonymous!! | Forum

Please bear this in mind. If you comment on something, than yes, it is not anonymous, and the owner of picture or video will see your comment.


But rating IS anonymous!!! Furthermore, the owner will not even get a notification that somebody rated his picture or video. So, don't be shy, if you like a pic or video - please rate it! But please, be nice, if you absolutely don't like smth - just skip it, don't give it 1 rate.  Just rate what you DO like.

on the mobile version you CAN comment on pictures. You cannot rate them, but you can comment.

Wind, it sounds to me like what you are saying is that if you can not give a rating of 5, then it must be a zero (or one). That type of all or nothing thinking is not how most adult people think.

I'm pretty sure that Marisa means that like most of our momma's told us "if you can't say anything nice about a person, then keep your mouth shut" type of thing.

If you can rate the pic at 3 or more than rate it. if you can not do that, then move on with out touching the rating.

Comment all you want if you have to share your negative thoughts about how it has bad quality, out of focus, or whatever other reason you have to dislike the picture. But comment on it because those comments have you as the source of the information, not an anonymous source.

Exactly, Billy. Neither I am saying to put always 5, nor I am giving advices on HOW to judge pictures: by pic quality, by pretty face on the picture, by interesting perspective, or just rate your buddies. Everybody has their own idea.


I am only saying - BE NICE to other people on the site. Just like Billy said: "if you can't say anything nice, then keep your mouth shut".

But there is no rating on 'people', all the ratings are on pics.

wind, where does it say on the site "rate people"?? Or where did I say in my post "rate people"? I repeat AGAIN what I said in my post:


if you like a pic or video (I didn't say a person on the pic!) - please rate it! But please, be nice, if you absolutely don't like smth (I didn't say somebody!) - just skip it, don't give it 1 rate.
