| About me | **I am happily married now and here to maintain friendships with those I have met on the site. I am not available for a relationship** I like the simple things in life, yet I also enjoy my creature comforts. I have a country background and prefer the outdoors to the noise and bustle of crowded bars or restaurants. That's not to say that I dislike going out to eat in restaurants but I do prefer a quieter more intimate atmosphere. I can be shy initially but once I'm comfortable with you watch out as then you are fair game for all sorts of teasing. Some values that are important to me are a good sense of humour, being willing to help others, loyalty, compassion, honesty, kindness, respect, genuineness and humility. I believe very strongly in accepting people for who they are and not trying to change them into what I want them to be. I like to treat others the way I would like to be treated myself ie the Golden Rule. I do have a religious faith which is very important to me, however I don't believe in forcing my faith down anyone's throat. I can also respect beliefs different to my own.
