I am a warm, intelligent woman starting a new chapter of my life. I'm looking for someone to spend time with...having fun....going to movies or coffee, meeting for lunch, watching a good movie or game on TV, weekend getaways, cookouts, golf. I'm not into drama or game playing and really don't like spending time with people who are. I believe that relationships are built on trust, honesty and communication and would look for that in a new friendship. Everyone thinks they have a sense of humor, even if they don't, so I will say that I can laugh at myself and often do.
I am pretty right-brain/left-brain equal, or so my friends tell me. I am organized and efficient for things like work and bills, but also like to do some creative things like painting, crafts and decorating. I am looking for an intelligent, warm, fun loving guy to enjoy spending time with...traveling, dining out, cooking together, going to sporting events, movies or sitting outside enjoying the weather and a cocktail. I'm actually okay with watching football on TV, but also love going to live games...even high school or college.
I am very family oriented and enjoy spending time with my family and wide circle of friends. I have a 19 year old son away at college that is the light of my life. My house is usually the one for holiday dinners or parties and I love pulling it together with everyone's favorite things. I like working in the yard or just hanging out on the patio visiting with friends. I prefer a pub to a nightclub and love outdoor patios during nice evenings. Give me a view and I'm content for hours.
I love going new places and seeing things I've read about in books or seen in movies. Loved going to London and getting to walk by Big Ben, the Tower and Westminster Abbey. Saw Dublin on the same trip and thoroughly enjoyed the pubs and Irish people. We (my son and I) recently went to the Dominican Republic and Turks and Caicos and loved both islands. I'm planning the next trip now and not sure whether to repeat one of these wonderful places or strike out for a new one. I need to brush off my dive gear and do a refresher course. Would love to visit France and Italy...next on my bucket list.
I am taking golf lessons now. I have always wanted to learn and now seems like a good time to have some fun putzing around the golf course. I can see why people say it's a continuing challenge. |
