| About me | I live in a 2 bedroom cottage in torrington, where i share a garden with my neighbours, who are all good friends. I have a mischievous black kitten with 6 white hairs,a female cat arwen, who is a tortoiseshell and is adorable( if she doesn't wake you at 5 am), I am a good cook, and vary my healthy diet, I keep fit every day for 30 mins. I spent many years campaigning on human and environmental rights, I am well educated to decree standards and higher, I believe in real English, get fed up on sites with American spellings corrupting our language, such as this one. I am caring about people, have helped many people, given them a roof, and helped them restart there life, I also sponsor a lass in Africa £16.00 a month through Plan UK, for last 2 yrs. I enjoy reading, researching things, and having fun, I can be very witty, even risqué type humour when I am happy, which I am at this time, I do get seasonal depression in winter from lack of sun, but overall i see the world as an optimist. I am a romantic and do cry at a good movie as well as laugh, my emotions are a part of me, I am sentimental, love a happy ending, and enjoy life to the full even through adversity, one of my sayings are:- 'You have to laugh at adversity otherwise it will laugh at you'! I like telling my girl I love you, and springing surprise little gifts. I love everyone, until they prove they aren't worthwhile, I see people for what they are, and I like to see the best in everyone, and hope always they can change for the better! I see inside people I am very empathic, I don't worry about what people look like, its what’s inside that counts! I like history, archaeology, and study many sciences in my time, and have some qualifications in sciences. All my life I have been sporty, stopped playing rugby when i was 47 9yrs ago. If we are not compatible, and do not see eye to eye, I hope we can always be friends, as friends are special too, a good friend is worth walking a hundred miles for!
