About me | The Holidays have passed us by, though the best Holiday is NOT that far off next month, Valentine's Day! An accidental tourist BORN JUNE 1961 on the cusp of Cancer, NOT A TRUE GEMINI from Pittsburgh, PA to TX with a 4 year pit stop in Germany courtesy of U.S. Army. Mostly Killeen/ San Antonio/ El Paso, TX, but recently Waco for the last 5 years. Transferred from the Amish town of New Wilmington at Westminster College to the Pittsburgh Airport area of Moon Township at Robert Morris where I played baseball & scouted by the Pirates. In life, all things are possible though I have experienced the good, the great, of course the bad. From playing sports to believing in God, I have learned to become a survivor. With my Army medical background, I saved 2 people from dying while at Fort Hood, TX about 2 weeks apart after completing such training. My mother passed away a few months ago & would have been 75 on October 1st. My father died in 1976 from drinking too much of the family's whiskey: (English, Irish, Scottish & German descent). My Mother's parents are from West Virginia- Morgantown area (Algonquin & Cherokee Indian, English & German descent), so If you live in the area, that would be great too since my Mother & Grandmother are buried at Wallace Lyons Cemetery & Grandfather is buried close to Shinnston. Whether Pennsylvania, Texas, or Germany, I have been almost to marriage, 1 FIANCE DIED of cancer, and I had to relocate with the Army, so lovers became friends due to relocating. After the Army, I wanted to attend UT Law School, but Dept of Vet Affairs told me it was to expensive, so I became a Licensed Legal Service Provider in San Antonio, Texas instead. My fluency in other languages isn't what it use to be in Russian, Spanish, German, Italian since I don't use it much as I once did, but I'm able to listen though. Before the active Army, I was a consultant for an Italian restaurant, then later a Sicilian restaurant before each of those were sold. Also, I lived on a 75 acre ranch for show horses yet it has been since the early 80s that I rode horses. |
