I am looking for my best friend. The person I can’t wait to come home to and find out how his day was and tell him about mine.
A person that we can enjoy making dinner or breakfast and just teasing each other and laughing. That on a rainy day, we can sit outside listen to the rain and enjoy just being together cuddling.
When I think of him, it makes my heart smile. If I look across the room and I can wink or smile and he will know I am blessed and thankful he is in my life and we are doing this together. As partners. Not a leader or a follower.
A person who accepts my faults and loves me more for them. Not erates or tries to change me.
I have 2 great danes that are therapy animals. We volunteer at the VA hospitals’ Psych ward, Dimentia and Long term care units.
We also volunteer at the children’s hospital and with kids with special needs.
I believe in giving back to our community and it’s my way of honoring god.
I’ve recently moved to Nashville. I am learning that I enjoy country music. I am discovering my faith again. While I don’t necessarily attend church. I do believe in a higher power. And that he has a plan for each of us.
I love to cook. It’s my way of decompressing. I enjoy a cocktail and chatting with the person who has captured my heart, while we make dinner together. I love waking up, and seeing him still asleep. Makes my heart smile and is a blessing that I would count each and every morning.
I want him to know that I will stand beside him. For him when he needs me. I will protect his heart, because it’s a precious gift that he chose to give. I want him to never worry about what will happen with us. Because I will give my all to making our relationship last a life time. As I would expect the same.
I am 1000% honest. And sometimes that gets me in trouble. Because you will not like some answers. But I will Never lie.
I love to go to the beach, for walks in nature, for a drive, and just enjoying the company of the person I am with. Not necessarily conversing the entire time. But just enjoy being together. |
