Hello everyone, I'm new here and I'm praying to God that this is the site I've been searching for. Have been on other dating sites that have been infected with scammers so I'm willing to give it one more try. Still trying to figure out the navigation on this sites so, here I go.

hi and welcome from SoCal, JMP908. while the big dog at the gate ( the Admin) keeps most of the trash on the other side of the fence, on very rare occasions one finds its way in somehow. What I am saying is to always be on guard, and remember trust is earned, not given.

Pretty much with the site you can search using the search link near the top. Then send PM's ( private message(s) to those you might be interested in. Participate here in the forums, in the groups, post pictures, videos, and a lot more stuff.
In your "Dashboard" there is a link for the FAQ's here, and in the forums a "help" forum. Plus the staff here can help with any other questions you might have.

That's the problem if you've got no scammers, you've got no scammers writing to you!LOL, exactly!!! I have a scambaiting profile on one "busy" site, will not name it here, so it doesn't look like I am bashing competitors. I have a VERY ugly picture with greasy hair on my profile that I borrowed from a site with jokes and stock funny pics, and my profile description says I don't shave my armpits and I fart and burp on the first date. Every day I get about 20 (!!!) new messages from "men" there. Currently, there are over 1000 (!!) messages in my mailbox on that site. 90% are scammers and 10% are dirty pervs, mostly from India. NEVER got a single message from a normal real man there. Not even ONCE!

And the crazy part is I got messages from the real men but after I reply they never reply back. Then I'm like "what the heck". I get a lot of messages from men who are really hard on the eyes, I'm sorry but I just had to say that.

yeah, so many weird people out there!! I guess they register just because they are bored and there is nothing good on TV tonight. They say Hi to a bunch of people, then 2 hours later they've already forgotten where they registered and never even come back to read replies.

Very well put wind090 if I do say so myself. For me I'm always looking for an honest person on the web, I know being gullible causes me problems but I now realize these dating sites are 90% infected with scammers.

JMP, I don't really know you as a person, but I'd be willing to bet you could safely substitute the word "gullible" and replace it with "too trusting" and the statement would still be true for you.
The biggest difference between the 2 is simple effect. Gullible sounds like a bad thing, while too trusting is or can be a good thing.
Those of us that fit into the too trusting area just need to learn more to either start using a theory of "trust is earned, not given", or "trust but verify" in their lives more than they do now. And there is nothing wrong with either idea.
