I'm just curious. How many people have you sent virtual gifts to? how about private messages? or are you just waiting for someone to contact you?
Since there are no scammers here, chances are good you aren't going to be hit with dozens of scammers that only see you as an ATM as soon as you sign up.
you are much more likely to get attention if you start the conversation on this site. Maybe you have tried and gotten no response, I don't know. I am just curious.

I joined here because I am going to visit Israel in December and wanted friends in Israel. I am looking for pen-pals.
I have made notes to some people but they have not answer.
This forum is one way to make contacts.

sadly, the forum is not as active as it used to be, but it can be a very good way to get to know others.
All I can recommend is to keep searching (and reading profiles), send virtual gifts, and private messages to those you may think you might get along with. If it is meant to happen it will.
have you tried any of the groups (such as travel or others)? There are tons of them too.

The thing is, we don't have many members from Israel, and those few we do have are probably not even active anymore. Since the site is in English and Spanish, most of our members are from the States and Latin America. If lets say you wanted a penpal from Peru or Colombia, wow, you would have TONs of action and responses. LOL

I have lived and worked in USA and even been married in Texas but no man from USA do write to me as they hunting for a young petite woman to marry. I am single and looking but in first place I am looking for a man to be friend with and then maybe marry, I have been there and done it so I am careful knowing how a bad marriage can be and they seems like a match in heaven but in real a match in hell.
I have been in a car accident and have broke my shoulder in 3 places and crasshed my knee and was thinking to celibrate Christmas and New Year somewhere and only relax and be healed.
I am open to fly to a place and my first priority is Israel but I have also booked a hotel-room in Athens.
