Hoping to meet some nice people. I am in Southern California and believe it would be interesting to communicate with someone international as well as someone nearby.

Hi and welcome to DnM, Chanteuse. You can use the search or members buttons to find people. Enter your criteria in and see what the results are. You can then read profiles and send Private messages (PM's) to those you think you may get along with.
You can also send gifts, upload, comment on, and vote on pics and videos. Ask and answer poll questions, join or create discussion groups, participate here on the forum, and probably more than that.
there are FAQ's at the bottom of each page, and a sub forum called help if you are looking for answers about the site itself. If you can't find the answer, please post the question in the help forum because chances are good you are not the only one with that question. So you'll be helping others by asking.
