I'm getting a "page not found" error on the link you posted, Louise....

I found this one though : http://www.truthorfiction.com/snopes-ceo-arrested-on-fraud-corruption-charges/

further searching reveals not much more...  search for news

more interesting info.... the "William Barksdale" that was a supposed messenger.... also someone by the exact same name happened to be a General in the Civil war, for the South, of course.

William Barksdale (August 21, 1821 – July 3, 1863) was a lawyer, newspaper editor, U.S. Congressman, and a Confederate general in the American Civil War. A staunch secessionist, he was mortally wounded during the Battle of Gettysburg while leading his brigade's attack on Union forces not far from Cemetery Ridge.

I'm thinking the chances of being struck by lightning are better than this story being true. but that is just my opinion.

of course it is joke!! The photoshop of "CEO arrested" is so lousy, even mugus do a better job on their photoshops. But the site itself is funny as hell. On the same page I spotted this and almost PMSL!!!
