I saw the mini-series of "Children of Dune" and truly brought back good memories of "Dune" the movie. Indeed this is Frank Herbert's best.
Last night saw the repeat of "Terra Nova" premier on cable. Storyline very similar to Jurassic Park. Lets hope the storyline gets better, otherwise, Steven Spielberg will lose some million $$$

I went one better and downloaded every season of every Trek series, I have them all in AVI format on DVD's.
STO
STNG
Enterprise
DS9
Voyager
I was sad about the ending of Voyager though, I felt it was too rushed and a serious anti-climax to the whole series. We nerds would realise that it would also create a massive paradox. _________________ When you open a door, it is for you to choose to go through it.

I have all the season of every trek series + all the movies … and Klingon tattoo on my arm.
Do I win a price for extra nerdiness?

How about a trip to see William Shatner in concert:

Guys and ladies, I thought I was a sci-fi fan until I read your posts....compared to me, you folks are definitely PROS....I'm just an ordinary fan.
I didn't just watch Star Trek Voyager, I practically gawped everytime Jerri Ryan came onscreen...I think the borg did it for me...not Jerri Ryan per se...
I was also a fan of DS9, the incessant political intriguing, paranoia and madcap plots fascinated me...
Last year, the BBC started a sci-fi series called 'Outcasts' and it got panned by the newpaper critics until the TV execs pulled the plug on it out of naked terror.
I felt that was a big shame because there was a chance to make sci-fi from a different perspective both visually and storywise.
Did any of you folks get to watch it - and if you did, do you think that it was an utter waste of time and money?
Your views, even if they pan me for liking 'Outcasts' are still welcome. _________________ "An untidy and extremely disorganised workbench is the design of an extremely clever mind, and when forgetfulness is added to the list of crimes, it is a clear sign of genius!"

Jerry Ryan didn't do a thing for me in Voyager. The only one to get my attention in the series was Kes (Jennifer Lien), it was her soft voice that did it for me every time. _________________ When you open a door, it is for you to choose to go through it.

I just checked out Episode 1. It was OK but I did find it a bit boring. It seemed too politically motivated to me. The story seems to start halfway through and it made me feel that there should have been an episode before the first one. Was there a pilot film for it? Maybe that would clear up a few of the reasons for it to start like that. _________________ When you open a door, it is for you to choose to go through it.
