Amazing, but a needle in a haystack.  There are so many.  Until the government create jobs the poor have no option.

Louise, maybe a thing like "birth control" or "population control" ( choose your favorite way to say it) might also help. as long as daddy is making 10 kids in his lifetime, those kids ( especially the boys) will need to find work. If we can control daddy's seed down to one or two, that is a lot less people looking for work.... Not to mention less AIDS, and other STD's .

I don't think its a govt's job to create jobs. Let the private sector do that. The thing over there in particular is that the government is so corrupt they take nearly everything so there is next to nothing left to give to the really needy.

all of the above are my personal opinions, of course.

Most of them are not doing this because they are poor and jobless. Many of them are from middle class, they study in universities, their parents have money to pay for their studies. They do it because in their society it is considered a "cool job" and it is totally acceptable and even prestigious. While only a small percentage of them are really successful, they brag among their buddies and classmates with cool cars, jewelry, electronics and smartphones they buy with scam money, creating an impression it's an easy fast money, the "rich pigs" westerners deserve it, and recruit more and more youngsters.
